SportsKid: The Mighty Steelers

Well, my Broncos were beat fair and square by the Chargers, and kept from the playoffs. I was very unhappy at how the Orange Crush was crushed by Rivers and company, but now I have reason to celebrate. The Pittsburgh Steelers proved to the Chargers that they didn't belong in the playoffs either and handed the Bolts a pretty big loss. I like the Steelers, and I guess if my Broncos can't be in the SuperBowl this year, I would prefer it to be them.

Why is Stargate: Atlantis being cancelled? Sure, the last season sucked, but the overall concept is good, and I love the John Sheperd character. I can't wait for BSG, but then this is its last season as well. Now I'm depressed. Oh wait, Grey's Anatomy is back on! Life is good again!

Truth in Politics?

I'll believe it when I see it, but it looks like the House would like to delve into some of the lies of the Bush administration. From TPM The bill introduced on Tuesday by House judiciary committee chairman John Conyers (D-MI) and nine other lawmakers would set up a National Commission on Presidential War Powers and Civil Liberties, with subpoena power and a reported budget of around $3 million, to investigate issues ranging from detainee treatment to waterboarding to extraordinary rendition. The panel's members would hail from outside the government and be appointed by the president and congressional leaders of both parties.

With this outgoing administration, they would have their work cut out for them...

I just watched Rock of Love III on VH-1. For this installment, Bret Michaels takes the ladies on a bus tour, as he feels that this is the best way to find his Mrs. Right since the previous two ladies didn't work out. The first installment was a wreck!

I don't know what attracts me to the show, besides the curiosity that are bimbo's, but these gals take the term bimbo to a new level. To be fair, there seem to be some interesting ladies on the show, but some of them are just out to lunch.

It could be an interesting series...as interesting as a bus wreck.

Welcome to GidKid's Blog. If you don't know me, let me tell you what I'll be ranting and raving about, and give you a sense of what it is to be me.

I like a lot of different things, and my interests range from crazy to boring. From this blog you will hear be go off on politics, celebrity gossip, sports, paranormal news, current events, money making schemes, and probably a bit about sex. I like all these things, some a bit more than others, and I plan on writing on whatever lights my fire. Many posts will be short snippets of random thoughts, and others will be consuming, long-winded screes which only the brave should read. I'll be posting items that I think will be helpful to me and mine, and I'll also post information I believe will make me some money (and you as well).
